GEO
Generative Engine Optimization: work intended to help a brand or its information be appropriately referenced in generative AI answers.
AEO

LLMO
LLM Optimization: work to make sure your brand appears correctly within a generative AI's answers. Think of it as the AI-era version of SEO. Difference from GEO: both name the same goal of being referenced appropriately in generative-AI answers, with little practical difference — LLMO is the common term in Japanese, GEO in English.
